The margin is a clear space between the edge of the inside of the browser, sort of like how a word document has a margin between the content and the edge of the paper.
Border:The border is a line that surrounds the padding and content, this is under the margin, the actual webpage begins after this point.
Padding:
This is a clear area that surrounds the content, it's transparent.
Content:
This is where the text, images and interactive content will be displayed.
